Mental Game
Honestly, this is the most difficult topic to explain. But this is the one that matters the most. All the information that a person needs to be able to achieve a certain task is readily available. Your mind dictates which actions to take. I know I am stating the obvious. And the more your mind is distracted, unfocused, etc. the more likely you won’t be able to achieve your goals. Sure, there may have been some incredibly successful people who were unfocused etc, but naming a few people doesn’t mean what I have said is wrong. There are always exceptions. But are you one of the exceptions? Honestly, I doubt it. I am not trying to insult you. Just statistically, I doubt you are some worldbeater destined to be talked about hundreds of years from now. I know I am not. And I am ok with that.
But let me present this topic in another way. If you watch sports, you know there have been incredibly talented players that wash out at the professional level. The reason is often that they couldn’t get their mind right. Peyton Manning loved the process and the work involved in being a professional football player. He was disciplined and dedicated. Ryan Leaf was not. They were drafted first and second in the 1988 NFL draft. One will be a first ballot hall of famer and the other will always be known for wasting his chance.
In order to achieve in life, a person needs to get their mind right. This is the hardest part.
